Process drama is an applied drama form. For our workshop we will be using the stories from the playback session. Process drama would allow the participants to delve into the story at a more personal level while still distancing themselves from the character. it helps them to think of the perspective of the protagonist and the characters around the protagonist. This gives them a bird’s eye view of the situation. The safe space comes from the usage of drama and it allows the facilitator to create something with the participants that is provoking yet not personal. It enables the participants to be empowered to make decisions. Be it in drama or in their lives.
